seems a bit high. my buddy owns a shop so he took care of it for me. But with the amount of work I see needed to rearrange the sensors if you have the CA I would say paint and install for 200-250 is fair.

I been thinking about putting this exhaust on my '13 528i xDrive. If I get the same rear diffuser as the one you got, do you know if it would fit my car? Or would I need a whole new bumper? I'm curious because the stock 528xi bumper is not cut out for dual exhaust; it only has one opening on the left side for the exhaust. Any insight would be appreciated!

the m5 diffuser will only fit your car if you have the m-sport package rear bumper. It won't fit a regular 528 bumper. you can probably source a decent m5 rear bumper on ebay or something

Thank you. Yes, my 528xi is not an M-sport. Is this the bumper I would need? "MTech Style".

Your exhaust sounds fairly quiet while you're cruising. When cruising, how much louder is it than stock? I love how loud it gets when you accelerate, but I wouldn't want my exhaust to be loud while just cruising.

yeah you would need that and the m5 diffuser. it replaces the black part. at WOT its pretty loud but in a good way. low deep throaty sound. its not much louder than stock while cruising with no drone whatsoever. now keep in mind it will sound different on the 528 than on my car because of the engine. not sure how different though. i remember seeing a youtube of someone with a 535 with a m5 exhaust but can't find it now. that'll prob sound more like what it would be like on your car.

Any pics or description of where you relocated the CA sensors? Does your CA still works properly?

Ghetto? How'd you come to that conclusion? It sounds pretty good. The only downside is the drone around 1500 RPMs. I don't think the car needs a $3k exhaust job, but just some decent replacement mufflers.

The M performance package gives the x5 a nice growl. If the 550 came like that, I don't think I would have touched the 550 exhaust.
