Throttle Body Shenanigans
Getting fun messages about reduced engine power, cruise control inoperative, etc. Codes are coming back for Throttle Body Valve Adaption, Spring Test Failed; anyone dealt with this and how much should I expect?
Just replaced the water pump, hoses, T-Stat, oil sensor (twice) and brake booster pump (recall). 86k miles and not really impressed with BMW's engineering on the N62. Fun, fun, fun 'til the repairs make this Daddy take the E66 away, lol.

Throttle body actuator failure and a couple of other parts; $906 later I'm thinking hard about keeping or trading.

The price of fun... Keep it. These problems come in streaks.... Tell me of another 5000lb sedan. That can run a 90 degree turn(at 35mph)and stay in the lane..
And now for some more fun.. |
