Car does not warm up very quick
Maybe its because its -10 outside this week. I don't know. My 525 takes forever to warm up. Probably a good 20 minutes of driving.
My Range Rover is blowing hot air within 10 minutes of starting and driving. Both have new theromostats, hoses and cooling systems. just wonder why this thing makes me freeze my ass off. Not to mention it was made in Germany, where it gets cold. ![]() |

Not good, because you keep the engine coolant at low temps, therefore the engine is not warm enough - the CCV might take a blow. Plus your mpg suffers big time.
Try this: set the HVAC to min (the fan speed at 1 dot - you can leave the preset temp). Have the OBD unlocked & set to test #7 - KTMP. You will drive in a cold cab a tad longer. Once you see the KTMP @ 94°C, you can hit the "Auto" button on the HVAC. The KTMP will dive to about 88°C, then fairly quick back up to 94 and then 96°. The 94°C temp you will also reach much quicker than with the HVAC set on "Auto". Because in that instance is like using 2 radiators instead of 1. Ask me how I know.
