How often should fluids be changed on 323I 2008
how often should I change my fuilds, for example bmw dealer told me I should change my oil every year or 25,000km. My buddy has a 2006 5 series and he does his every 6mth or 6000km to avoid any problems. any advice would be great thank you.

15 years of history and millions of BMW show clearly that there isn't any problem with every year or 25 000km, assuming the right oil and OEM filter.

I sold my E46 with 330,000km on it. Its entire life consisted of 25,000km oil changes, and when I was replacing the valve cover gasket, everything was nice and shiny, with 0 sludge.

My '07 335i is super low mileage weekend/summer car. I stick to the once a year oil change. If mileage were to suddenly increase, I doubt I would go longer than 6000-8000km in between changes.
Thats just my opinion; your mileage may vary *grin* A |
