Is it that tough?

All I want to do is change the oil and filter in my 2009 328i. I was unsure of the capacity and type of oil I needed so I checked the forum. There seems to be several opinions on this. Can anyone help me? Is it that tough to find this info?

Have you tried looking in your manual? Forget it ... I just looked at mine and all I could find was API SE 5W - 30 or 5W - 40 synthetic. No amount though.

There's more information on voice commands then maintence.

Go to BMW service. Buy the oil and filter from them. You are done.

If you are looking at the intarwebz and not expecting A Thousand and One Different Opinions then I want to welcome you to 1993.

Make sure it has the BMW LL-01 spec on the back. It takes 7 quarts.
