Exclamation Help help help

Hey guys I am a proud new owner of 94 325i. Just got it yesterday and i had a few questions. First off the battery is completely fried. the car had been sitting outside for 4 or 5 months. so i jump started it and we got the hood open and well we cant close it all the way. the spring for the latch is either broken or its still too cold for it to work i guess? but even then its not closing at all. second issue i have is that the heat is only working on the drivers side...? idk why and also the speedometer and other gauges were freaking out on the way home. does that have to do with the anti theft and what not? PLEASE help me out. i wanna start driving this thing!!

Check the two rubber knobs that are on the frame of the car, if they are raised too much they will prevent the hood from coming down all the way.

For the gauges you will probably have to replace a wheel speed sensor.

Well, yea sorry that slipped my mind. Autozone has a good selection of batteries that should work on your car. Just use the search function and find out which one will work.

If your battery is pooched, your gauges may well do wonky things. Fix the power issue soonest.
