Yeah, that sucks.
Is the dent pretty bad? Hard to tell in the pic.
A good body shop should be able to fix that and make it
look brand new.

It's about a 2" crease with scuff marks. It's not awful but it feels like it is.

That reminds me... I once watched a ~8 year old child wildly fling open the back door of the SUV his mother had just parked. The door put one helluva ding into the car next to the SUV with a loud *WHAM*. A HUGE dent.

They didn't see me, they were facing away from me. They simply walked away and into the nearby mall like nothing had happened. The mother didn't scold her child for being careless, or even take a second look at the car door her spawn had just mangled.

Ya, some people really suck (and many of those people seem to be having children).

I have had very good luck with Dent Pro If the paint isn't cracked it will look brand new. They use "wacky brass cams" on long rods to sneak behind the panel and push out the dents.

Yes,, what JG said. Try a good paintless dent repair place. They can do amazing things. I had a area pushed in along a seam and when they were done, it was gone and was like new.

Same Day Repair is who I used.
