E36 M3 coupe midpipe fit on 328i sedan?

My buddy has a catless midpipe that he's trying to get rid of and I'm wondering if it'll fit my car.

His was a 95 M3 (dunno if OBD1 makes a diff) coupe and I have a 97 (OBD2) 328i sedan.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys

Mein Auto: rescued bmw's
they should fit,

obd1 converges into single joint, then back into 2 @ the cat.

obd2 is a single pipe with individual cats all the way back.

I think itll fit but your midpipe is better than the obd1's

keep the one you have on your car
