Engine wobble

Hi I'm pretty sure my engine/transmission mounts are going to need replacing but i wanted a second opinion, when my car is out of gear and i rev, the engine feels like its wobbling but only as the revs are building.
If i get the revs to say 3000 and hold it there the wobble fades slightly but is still noticeable, the clutch meeds replacing for sure as i get a vibration sometimes when pulling off could this affect the car when out of gear?

Its an 520i 2002 manual

Thanks in advance for any help or replies xxx

Pop the hood, find another person to observe the motor for any movement as you Rev the motor; maybe even secure the parking brake, give a bit of gas and let clutch engage with trans in reverse and see if observer can see motor movement- if so, that's pretty clear sign mounts are at fault.

The front engine mounts are liquid-filled. They don't last forever. I replaced mine at 153k. They showed signs of leakage.

Have read many people finding their trans mounts worn out also, give those a looks see too while you're under there.

Wobbling? Wouldn't failed mount simply give a single movement when accelerating and decelerating?

But as others have mentioned check engine, trans, and even surframe mounts. And while under there inspect the guibo, center support bearing and the rear cv joint.
