Tire icon

I had a nail in my tire and my indicator light came on. I had it fixed and all tire pressures checked. I drove thirty miles and it still didnt go off. Any input??

Thanks. I'll have my mechanic take a look at it. I imagine you need a good mechanic when you own a high end vehicle like these

Do you have an owners manual? If you do, things like this (how to reset flat tire monitor) is explained. Don't waste time & money taking your X to a mechanic to fix something that is explained in the owners manual.

Thanks for the info. Feel kinda dumb not checking the manual or seeing the reset button. I'm a new x5 owner and have alot to learn, but thanks to your help the icon is off. This is a great site to belong to. I also didnt know that the correct tire pressures are located on the door jamb(front 32psi rear 33psi)

Great...glad it worked out for you. And the question abut the owners manual was a true question...not a backhand slap. Some times the OM doesn't get passed down to the next owner in the used car market.

Its cool. I actually got all the manuals except for the bluetooth card with the code on it. Had to take part of the trunk apart to get to the module to read the code. But again thanks for your reply. It really helped
