Your "readiness" monitors were not set because the JB4 had autoclear on, which would constantly reset the monitors.

I would wait a couple days. It's a good amount of driving for all the monitors to become ready.

If you have an INPA setup, you can check the readiness monitors yourself, before you go.

JB4 hijacks the OBDII port and blocks communication.

So my question is: should JB4 be set on map 0 for a couple of days before a smog check?

Yes that turns off the tune, autoclear, and the OBDII port hijacking.

As mentioned, if you have catless DPs, you will fail emission testing regardless.

There ya go. There is a way to protect from whoever you give it to from turning JB4 on with the steering wheel buttons....mind you, every dealer not only knows how to operate those buttons, but looks for JB4 and logs it existence.

Just in case.

Wheels? What wheels?

You are aware that BMW wheels are rated to the speed limiter on your model, unlike most aftermarket bling?

Just fire up the laptop interface; disable shift lights and steering wheel buttons. Done! I have a USB cable installed for access.
