best possible angel eyes pre-facelift?

Hello,

as the title say´s, I have a BMW 645 cab pre-facelift, which angel eyes is the best for my car? (price is of no issue)

The lack of answers suggest´s that there arent any good angel eyes I presume, for the pre-facelift?

The lack of answers is probably more indicative of a lack of interest in the topic due to extensive prior discussions. Do a search and you will find many threads with opinions, debates and pics re AE bulbs. I replaced mine about 1.5 years ago with 5W models I bought off ebay (search for my thread with pics) - others have liked the mtec models (which are sold by a forum sponsor, e92). Some of the new cheap AE bulbs have too much room around the back housing of the bulb, presumably for cooling, and a couple of members have had issues with moisture/fog getting into the housing. A while back I believe Angelbright had the best quality (and brightest) AE, but they were a pricy $300 per pair.

I haven't researched this issue in over a year, so my views might be a little dated. good luck.

This is a testament to how great this site is. Most sites you get scolded, told to search and your question removed. At the Fest you get a great answer from a knowledgeable source with a little encouragement to look at the many threads on the subject.

I also found out how lucky we are by looking for a DIY for a Benz. I need to replace a door lock actuator on an 04 CL600. Looking through the Benz sites for a DIY is ridiculous. You may as well just ask which dealership they took their car too.

I got my AE's from a forum member that upgraded (again), I think they are the V3's and I love the color (i.e. white instead of yellow). I just ordered an interior package off ebay as well.
