whats the normal price for 6qts? I grabbed about 10qts when NAPA had their $5.89/qt sale. That was pretty decent.

I buy Castrol 0W30 European formula (BMW LL-01) whenever it's on sale. With 5k oil change intervals, you can find any oil on sale before you need it.

NAPA autoparts sells NAPA-brand synthetic, made by Valvoline, $3.50/qt when on sales.

Walmart has Castrol and Quaker State Synthetic at $5/qt all the time), $25 for 5 qts.

Would I be asking for trouble if I changed from Mobile 1 synthetic to Castrol?

Most synthetic oils you buy these days are very good.
Castrol is an excellent Co., I have been using Castrol Synthetic for years, zero problems.

If you are lucky enough to have a Costco that carries it and has it in stock when you get there.

I've only ever found 5w-30 which to me is just fine.

I'm interested in finding some Castrol 0W30 LL-01, where do you get yours from?
