I have a 2004 x5 driver door handle not opening the door,it'll open from the inside, any ideas

Did you have any snow or rain lately - accompanied by Freezing temps?? sometimes they get wet and freeze

will open once it thaws out - use a hair dryer if you can

I looked inside the door and the cable moves but not enough to release the latch ,but don't know how to remove the outside handle
