Opinion on factory BBS sport wheels

I'm having my factory 17" sport BBS wheels reconditioned next week. Should I go OEM and do the polished clearcoated lip and silver painted wheel center. OR. Paint the center wheel section black. ????? I'm torn. I think they look great stock. but black with the polished lip would be bad arse too. No cost difference.

Depends on the color of the car, I always thought I would paint my centers because of the overflow of silver I have on my car. I wanted to do the black and silver theme, When I re finish my wheels I will probably keep them the OEM silver color with polished lips with a new clear coat.

What happens if you decide down the road that you no longer like the black centers?

Why not paint them silver and plastidip the centers? They also have a glossifier that will add some shine. I think I've seen some people even clearcoat over the plastidip.

It would be hard to say without knowing the color of your E39. You have style 42 right?

Not a fan of the black with chrome/polished lips, but Nogaro silver painted centers I could get into.
