Performance Power Kit?
Hi so I was looking for a 335i, and I believe I found one.
It has the performance power kit sticker in the engine bay and was wondering is there anyway to find out if it has it on there and which version (v1,v2?) |

I came in this thread, and had to laugh at myself for ever thinking PPK would be enough. I almost dropped 1k on it for just the tune

If its an n54 wouldn't the warranty be up sometime this year/next? Not that long of a wait I guess, save up funds because once you put the jb4 on you'll get the mod bug that day.

See if the dealer can pull the history on the car, but it may not show. If it was installed at a dealer other than where you are purchasing, you'll probably have to call around to try and find out what version was installed. I had the PPK installed at one dealer, but when I took it to my servicing dealer they had no record of it being installed. I think that's odd, but I know it is installed as I have the service order and put it on a dyno to verify. So much for dealer computer systems...

Quote:
the original PPK and the "stage2" ppk had a high output radiator fan (evidence is a large relay on the drivers side of the engine bay), and an aux radiator in the drivers side wheel well. the flash only version does not have the additional cooling |
