Side marker lights for E60 recommended

Hi all,

I need recommendation for my 2010 535i (E60) side marker lights. Is there any error code if I install the after market side marker lights? please advise.

I got mine from Trinity Autosport (trinityautosport.com) - tell Joe I sent you, no errors and brighter and stealthier than OEM.

Nope, error codes do not show up when a side marker is out. I changed mine to white led.

Any brand suggestion bro? I found lot some on Ebay for like 26 bucks a pair. is that sound rite?

I don't buy cheap eBay crap, they usually won't have the resistors needed to eliminate errors. Go with a trusted vendor, pay slightly more, but have a throat to choke so to speak, if you have any issues. I pay a little more and get a lifetime warranty

I wouldn't, changing the color isn't legal in some places. Another good thing about LED's, they don't look like a big egg yolk on the side of your car.

I bought a pair of Angel eyes from him last week, just got them yesterday (2/16/13) open then box to check it out. it seem a used pair to me. all the brass terminal lead oxidation turn into brown, wire got twisted and bent. The bad part is no instruction show how to install them. I spend almost 2hrs can not remove the dam light assembly out of my car. I gave up . In his email told that plug and plau but the package he sent me look like there are the ballast (black) and the stater (in silver/chrome) I Just wonder how to put all those into the light housing and cap it .

First, you should've contacted them immediately, he backs his products if there's an issue he'd replace them, no problem. Second, if you need instructions I can help you or Joe can help you. I promise, it really isn't hard at all.

Great, you need a t10 wedge led bulb(look on ebay) , exactly what I got to make mine a bright white LED.

I did sent him pm msg since yesterday, no reply at all. He usually reply his pm right away when he pm me for payment then when I got the product, I pm him back to tell him what I've seen right out from the package then I got no answer.

you mean just replace only the LED bulb ? not to replace the whole thing ? are those LED lights last long cuz they're not that expensive at all

Yes just replace only the bulb, no need in changing the lens.. They should last a decent amount of time.

Be happy to help Bro, let me look for a better DIY and I will see what's up about your lights. I can tell you, Joe is the most anal guy I have ever seen about making sure the details are right, he will make it right if it's wrong.

thanks bro! ...The instruction you sent me way more different than the one I found ...no wonder I tried so hard can not get the light out. I will give it a try tomorrow again but I am only replace the Angel eyes not the driving light like you have

Well, I have the 20W Angel Eyes, Trinity's newest. No problem, hopefully the DIY helps you. Remember, the AE bulb is in there towards the bottom of the headlight under the round cover, you don't have to remove the other cover

there are also a ballast and starter how do I hide them in side the cover ? The EA light is on the ROUND cover side right?
here is the picture of my AE (see attached). You can tell the wire got bent , kinks, and I guaranty they are not NEW !

Ok, so everything gets plugged in and then you tuck everything carefully into the housing, trust me it fits. I had these on my old car after I upgraded to LCI headlights. There isn't a ton of room, but there is enough to tuck everything neatly into the headlight.

Yeah ...they look nice better looking than then stock yellow rings I am looking to get the headlight as well 6000k or 8000K white light. Any suggestion?
My next project is:
1/ Replace the stock speaker with BSW ( waiting for the set to arrive)
2/ Add a sub bass . Still waiting for Technic guy to reply back with the hardness availability.
I did ordered a JL sub 12W6v2-D4 and the JL 500/1 Amplifier.

Just order a pair of Putco LED s from etrailer.com, or stay 100% OEM like myself.

If you're lens' are looking a little "yellowed" (not the bulb, but the lens itself) go OEM on them.

They're cheap, and they'll make the front fender look like it's 2013.

Bought mine (lens w/ bulb) from Tomkinson BMW for around $25 a pair.

are they plug and play or do I need any adapter or converter etc ...? cuz you can see the AE have all kind of ballast, starter came with it. I am not sure the headlight are the same way
