Sakhir Orange Metallic

Just placed an order for an M5 in Sakhir Orange/black interior/Exec package/driver assistance package.

Tired of owning black/white/grey cars and wanted a more lively color this time. For those of you who have Sakhir Orange - how do you like it after driving it for a while? What kind of reactions do you get to the car in that color?

While I do not have a M5. I do have SO and it will break necks like crazy. People LOVE it. Especially when it's all clean nice and shiny. I too was tired of the typical colors and wanted something exciting.

While I do not have an M5 nor M3, I do have an M color. It is absolutely the way to go. I had SO ordered, but changed my mind to AY. I saw SO in person and thought it photographed better than it looked in person. A SO M5 here in Germany will absolutely turn heads- nearly all of them. I imagine the same is true in America.

I have not seen one in person, but I would order one. My '15 M5 is Monte Carlo Blue, and it was between that and Sakhir Orange. The MCB choice was made because they had one in the showroom EXACTLY how I would build it, so I was able to get instant gratification!

Oh, man...I love it, too!! If I were filthy rich, I'd have one in blue AND one in orange. Actually, I'd have an M6 GC in orange and my M5 in blue. Enjoy!!

Thanks, madhotm3! I haven't had them very long, but I've been enjoying every minute I'm driving either one of them. Sure, my wife and I will be lonely when we're old and don't have kids to keep us company...BUT, it lets us buy fun, cool toys while we're young!!

Thanks for all of the advice. I ended up changing color to Monte Carlo Blue. I think Sakhir Orange is the nicest color but I think I'd tire of it sooner than MCB. Both are great. I pick my M5 up in Munich next week.

Great choice! They are both great colors for the M5 but I think I'd go for the MCB as well. Just look at the pics of the one a few posts up ...beautiful!
