Thinking of trading my 2012 M3

Gentlemen,
New to the forum, thanks in advance. I have a 2012 M3 with 3500 miles, fully loaded, and I'm thinking about trading it for a 2013 740li. My only issue is the trade price they are offering here in Germany ($55000). What do you think, good trade price?

You are taking a huge lost on the trade.

Yes, the dealer is making a VERY low offer to ensure they make a profit on the re-sale. I know these cars take a huge depreciation hit but you would likely be better off trying to sell the car through a private sale rather than trading it in at the dealer. But have no knowledge of the private market for these cars in Germany!

I sold my 2011 e92 M3 with under 15k miles for 56k six months ago. Selling it would be the way to go.
