New battery - Bimmerfest

I had a new battery installed by an Indie (along with a new alternator) and asked if he registered the battery. He said he checked and the 2004 645 doesn't require it to be registered. Anyone else had this experience?

Yes it needs to be registered. The power module will continue to charge as if it still has an old worm out battery in your car. This will shorten the life of your new battery. It's a simple process to do, takes 2 minutes.
