E39 OEM brake fitments
Looking for some information regarding brake fitments (calipers, rotors, pads, etc), I have a 1999 540i with the sports package and I wanted to know if all E39 years with the sports package are identical to mine?
Also does a any model year non-sports package 540i are identical to cars with sports package? I've done some searching but couldn't really find concrete answers. Thanks guys

Just go to RealOEM.com and compare the part numbers for the various components in the model years/options with yours to determine if they are interchangeable. Note: The brakes from the V8 will not fit some of the I6s unless you also change the wheels to 16" or 17". Some older I6s had 15" wheels.
