Philadelphia Area Need BMW Mech Vanos Repair.

HI,

Not new to BMW. I have had the vanos issue in my 2000 528i. That was a simple rebuild unit and slapped in at BMW.

Now I have a 2003 540i and need the updated seals put on the unit and cant find a shop. I even called an indy BMW specialist koltz in NJ and he told me to use thicker oil.

If someone near by could point me in the direction of a shop that knows whats going on.

You are the man! I called and they had more info then using thicker oil.
