steering Wheel Shimmy

I ran over.a curb yesterday in the snow and now since this morning only my steering wheel is shimmying back and forth while driving. Could I have damaged my tie rods?

either that or maybe the control arms

Gotta get in there and check for damage.

Could have even bent the wheel or thrown the weights off it.

+1 for bent wheel. A bent tie rod or bent control arm will pull to one side but normally won't cause a shimmy.

+1 on bent wheel. And check that tire for damage, like sidewall bulges, while you're at it.

Was the snow deep enough to get some packed inside the wheel? That'll really make the steering wheel shimmy from the wheel being out of balance.

Definitely could be a bent wheel, tie rod, control arm, or missing wheel weight. Gotta inspect it to see what's going on.

Driving in heavy snow, sometimes ice and snow build up in the wheel. That causes vibration, because it makes the wheel unbalanced.
