Autochondria or is everything broken?

First, many thanks to all who have helped me by directly answering my questions or for providing info that I can find in a search. I have tackled many assignments that I wouldn't ordinarily think about trying.

Last night a storm with 81mph gusts blew through Boston during my commute home. Each time the buffer hit, I immediately thought shocks? rear ball joints? control arm?

When I am among other cars and smell coolant, I panic even though I overhauled a recently.

Has faithful reading in this space made me over-compulsive neurotic?

Nah. Just this morning I looked out my office window and saw my windows open in the rain. Then I realized that I was sitting on my key. I read about this just last week.

Well, if you are in a forum where most people are posting about things breaking and problems, it really does not help. You might need to cutback on forum exposure.

Just because you're paranoid does not mean they're not after you.

I always think my car is breaking. Same thoughts come to mind when I smell coolant, I know I replaced everything, but I always worry its me. Currently my front suspension could use a little love, so I replaced the endlinks for now, but I have a feeling when I replace the rest of it, I'll still think something sounds weird or feels off. I suppose it's not the worst thing, I don't often find myself on the side of the road.
