e65 Idrive controller removal

HI Folks,

I just purchased a used 2002 745i and now have the joy of getting everything right.

I found that a new battery fixed almost everything and kept all the trouble codes from coming back.

I am having an issue trying to find a thread that tells me how to remove the I drive controller or the console. Has anyone done this before? I have replacement for the controller but no idea how it comes out.
