Tim I have the Alpina full parts catalog for the e34 b10 chassis.
Plus found a company in Canada who can ship them in and out to us.

GUYS click the image, it brings you to an album of more. You can see it is not wrecked and has been inside. because the tines made tracks in the snow, plus you can see the dust on the tires.

OMFG....

Everytime I try to do anything you just go and raise the bar...!

So like, now that the curtains match the drapes, i sure hope the wheels only LOOK like there made of glass.. lol

Cuase that may be bad thing if you find a pothole!

Its also wierd to actually see the center section of a 3 piece wheel out.. Looks, fragile haha
Thanks for the pic's!

And may i add, you have EXQUISITE taste in rims hahaha

Hands down the best E34 540i 6MT I have seen on Bimmerfest! I like how you keep a very clean stock exterior appearance using the M-pars or Alpina wheels and I wouldn't doubt the fact that your car can hit 0-60 mph in the 4 second range!

Thank you, sir!
The plan was to keep it clean and mostly stock looking, yet fast enough to embarrass newer and more sophisticated supercars.

That's pretty optimistic, but there's hope: Steve Dinan was able to wrecnh 800+ hp out of a basically stock M60B40 in the mid 90's... Here's the article;http://www.stanceworks.com/2014/07/i...allenge-sedan/

Now with an update on forward progress...

Well guys, keep your fingers crossed! ....My car finally appears to be on a schedule now.

The Procharger, intercooler and intake has been final fitted and plumbed. As of right now, everything has been pulled back off so that the inner fender can be properly reshaped to fit the contour of the new head unit. While everything is apart, the components and plumbing are being polished or powdercoated. Once cosmetics are complete, the components will be re-installed, torqued and safety wired...

Then off to the dyno we go!

Target Completion date is end of the month (just barely in time for Bimmerfest East?)

NEW PROGRESS:

nice and tight!
Check out the reflection of the supercharger in the valve cover.

Massive supercharger bracket
fender liner trimmed and hood shock removed on passenger side to accommodate plumbing

[

Fender will have to be reshaped/contoured/resprayed (again) to allow the supercharger to sit low enough for the hood to clear... everything is really tight, but it works!

Tim I don't know wheither to call you a serious wheel whore or a aficionado of rare and unique rims.
I loved the hartge rims.
I always liked the original Alpina staggered wheels
But the custom LMs....

no words can capture the smile they put on my face when I saw them.
Then again I can only imagine the grin you had once you opened the boxes.

Your car is a Icon for 540 excellence.
