Angry Wiper Blades

Greetings,

Took a trip down my local Autozone before work to buy some Bosch and anything would fit my 99' 323i e46 sedan.. Spent 30 mins and still couldn't get one that will click to the wiper arm at all.. I clearly believe that not all wipers are equally created...

Guys, what are you using for your wipers on your e46 sedan?? Where can I go to buy a pair without going to the Stealership? I would buy them on amazon if they're any good.

Help!!

Thanks,

Jay

Unless something has gone wrong with the wiper blade holder, just replace the inserts: Either PN 61-61-0-154-441 with the metal strips or PN 61618217711 for rubber only. Cut length to fit. Some reports that the 441 with strips is discontinued everywhere. It is a bit of a fussy job to slip the inserts in and out, but at around $5 ea, it beats paying $35-60 for a pair of complete blade assemblies.

I picked up some Bosch from Advance Auto this weekend ($10 off 2). They fit perfectly.

I'm too lazy to keep driving around town for blades. I know you didn't want to go to the stealership. Check this site, you can save a little more (I think). btw I mine from the stealership lol

I'm using PiAA silicone wipers. They work great and eliminated the chatter I got with OE replacement inserts. I got them online, maybe from Bavauto, but I know they're available from several site sponsors. Search through those links.
