Time to code the fog lamps. Anyone know how?
Started my car this morning and got this:
"Left front fog lamp malfunction. Have lamp check by nearest BMW stealer." The fogs are taped up and stuffed in the bumper. Maybe the bulb is dead from age? Anyway, when they did the bumpers they obviously didn't disable the lights. So does anyone know how to disable the fogs or should I start the search? LMA module I would assume?

You need to turn off the Hot & Cold monitoring, you are correct, in the LMA. Here are the paprameters in question:
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_NSW_L COLD MONITORING OF LEFT FRONT FOG LIGHT nicht_aktiv not enabled aktiv enabled KALTUEBERWACHUNG_NSW_R COLD MONITORING OF RIGHT FRONT FOG LIGHT nicht_aktiv not enabled aktiv enabled WARMUEBERWACHUNG_NSW_L HOT MONITORING OF LEFT FRONT FOG LIGHT nicht_aktiv not enabled aktiv enabled WARMUEBERWACHUNG_NSW_R HOT MONITORING OF RIGHT FRONT FOG LIGHT nicht_aktiv not enabled aktiv enabled You should also disable check control for them too: FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_NSW_L CHECK CONTROL NOTIFICATION FOR LEFT FRONT FOG LIGHT nicht_aktiv not enabled aktiv enabled FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_NSW_R CHECK CONTROL NOTIFICATION FOR RIGHT FRONT FOG LIGHT nicht_aktiv not enabled aktiv enabled
