Nice rear spoiler for 4 series?

I'm thinking of adding a rear spoiler to add some character to my 428i. The OEM carbon fiber spoiler is something like $850, and I think that's a bit excessive.

I saw some really nice plastic ones for 3 series for around $80 and I was wondering if anyone knew of some high quality spoilers for 4 series under $200.

Just a comment about the Carbon Fiber rear deck spoiler, my 428 came with it as OEM from dealer stock and makes my Alpine White look incredible as well as unique. I would strongly recommend AGAINST getting it because then mine wouldn't be unique LOL

LOL

But I do agree, that OEM carbon fiber lip looks flat out gorgeous. For that price though, I'd rather get m sports brakes upgrade instead.

I am having the cf spoiler installed on Monday for my eb 435. Spoiler cost was $680 installed. I'm also getting the black grills and the mppk. I've debated the chin spoiler but I'm nervous I will forget about it and pull up to a curb.

Can you post some pics? I've thought about it for mine, but can't decide if the black spoiler will look out of place on my white car.

Will be happy to on Monday afternoon... Of course mine is blue... If you search Google images, there are some great photos of the m performance pieces on a white 435.

Yeah everywhere I've read all recommended the front diffuser as well, but I'm kinda scared of scraping it. (My drive way doesn't have a ramp, it's just this 5 inch high rounded curb, and I already have to be extra careful not to scrape my msports bumper).

By the way, where did you buy the CF spoiler for 650? I've only been seeing them for >$800

I have a M Performance splitter on my car and surprised that it actually rides higher than the front bumper on my of 330i ZHP. I by mistake had my 335i splitter ride over a wheel stop that I know my 330i would hit.

If that link is for part #51192354500, you can get it right on EBay for $215:

All,

I have all my parts (spoiler, black grills, and MPPK) being installed at my dealer now. Below is the pricing quote from my dealer after I negotiated (the grills got free installation with the deal plus 10% off all parts and negotiated down install price for ppk);

spoiler parts & labor--$681+tax, grills--$144+tax, power kit--$1650+tax. Total $2445+tax

I'll get some pictures up later.

I'd still love to see some pics of the black spoiler on a white car if someone has them. At least that auction has an option for returning it if it doesn't look good.

Mine's not a 4 but it is white with a black spoiler. I also have 20% tint, black grilles, and tinted tails. I love the spoiler. That and the grilles help my car stand out just a little bit against all the other white 3's in my area. I get a lot of compliments on the car.

I have an Alpine White on Coral Red with an OEM Carbon Fiber spoiler and it makes my car stand out and in my opinion finishes the look of the car. The Carbon Fiber works perfectly with the black mirrors and other black trim pieces on my 428 sport trim.

Here's a thread where I posted a bunch of pics I took of mine with the spoiler. I really like the look.

Thanks everyone!
Snareman, Yes, yours look very nice especially on white! is it from dealer or somewhere else?
alohasurftoad, The plastic one price is very close to OEM non-CF spoiler
