E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

New BMW 135I Owner.. Rims Question

I have a 2010 Bmw 135i M sport, should i stay with the 18's or go with 19's I don't want to sacrifice comfort of the ride... I am open to suggestions but please let me know wheel size and and suggested tire sizes, I don't want the rim to stick out at all..

I am hoping to purchase rims in the next couple of days..

Thanks for the help Guys,

Nice interior! I'd go for 18s just because of the comfort. If you don't plan on modding the car in the future, i'd stick with the 18s.

The common misconception is that bigger is always better. Larger rims don't always give you better performance. In your case, 18" is probably best. 19" rims will be heavier. That means an increase unsprung weight and rotational mass of the wheel. The net result is that the car is slower to accelerate and won't hold it's grip on the road as well.
The only benefit is the lower profile tire which will give a marginal benefit to steering response.

Not so sure about the weight but if you get the BMW performance wheel which is 2 lbs lighter regular wheels to me is an even upgrade.
I would go with the BMW 313 19" rims.
