Steering wheel controls out/no radio or GPS display

I have a 2000 740il. None of the steering wheel controls are working, though all the fuses are good. I have no horn, no cruise, no radio controls. Also, even though I get volume and stations from the radio, I have no display on the GPS/Stereo screen. And the pixels on my dash display go in and out, and are more often than not impossible to read...Anyone else have this issue? Everyone of my friends who are mechanically inclined are baffled, and I don't know anything about mechanics! Thanks!!!

Pixels are one issue, likely not related. Look at a vendor's website called www.VDORepair.com to learn more about that.

Did you ever figure out. I am having similar issues. Replaced ignition switch. No change.
