Thoughts on condition of 645ci

Looking to pick up by end of month, have one test drive under the belt and have a inspection by dealership this weekend. Just want a few opinions and advice on it, since the Carfax history was a little shaky. Spoke with the owner and have some of his maintenance history with a reputable german auto shop. With this mileage, at this price you should be able to get a comparable vehicle without a lemon title. Condition may be good but this mileage seems to be in the range a number of problems occur. High mileage for a "weekend" car.

Look at eBay, autotrader, cars.com, cargurus.com etc.

Personally, if you can afford to spend a few more grand, I'd get a 650i with a clear title, but a 645Ci is fine too. A reason why I emphasize a clear title is that it would be easier if you plan on selling it in the future. But other than the title issue, the car appears to be in good condition. Good luck

Check NADA.com. The price asked is above clean retail. The guy is out of his mind to ask that much. I would offer something closer to rough trade in value or $18 to $20k

I was going to say... He is asking way to much and it has a lemon/buyback on the title. I wouldn't even look twice at this car. Keep looking you can do way better.

Felt the same way, was going to lowball offer 18k. I tried but couldn't imagine ballong on a budget and driving a lemon, have my eyes on an 06 650i around 60k miles
