Which Is Faster BMW E46 M3 Vs Audi S5

I have an 04 e46 m3 and i think my car is faster than the S5, but i want your opinion on which car will be faster

Fast?? I believe both cars are electronically speed limited @ 155 MPH


Are you asking for which one is "QUICKER" as in acceleration ???

If its quickness you are after... define what you are after.

both are almost identical as tested by road and track - both 4.8 to 60 MPH and 13.3 1/4 mile - at the drag strip it would be a drivers race.

asfar as top speed limit the M3 is limited at 167 mph. not 155 as published.

Guess you are not familiar w/ the term "Speedometer margin of Error"

wow i was wondering why i got up to around 170mph..i love all the hidden things on the M3 like the SMG launch control and the top speed limiter

id say they are about the same but which one would u rather have?

I have both, just got my s5! They both are quick - hard to say what's quicker in everyday driving. Of course it's very different since my current m3 has SMG. Handling goes to the m3, comfort to the s5. Obviously gadgetwise the s5 is far ahead. If you're looking for a great m3 mine is for sale

its NOT speedo error - its been confirmed by those with diagnostic tools such as Conforti - maker of the shark injector and other software.

bot stock...m3 is plus one person...
