Tail Lights
So i found a set of black tail lights here
http://www.protuninglab.com/04bmwe60...tm_content=pla and what im wondering is are the taillights from the 04-07 5 series that same as the 08s ? so basically would these work on my 08 535xi?

I think it is just pointless to go back in time
 Why would someone with LCI lights go back to aftermarket wanna be LCI lights?

I'm sure u probably thought of this, but maybe find someone with an 07 and see if the harness is different some how. I would guess there probably is. Just going off of my knowledge from searching for parts for my 2004 E60 that around 07-08 they changed little things on the E60. i.e. lightbulbs. I wouldn't doubt that wire harnesses could have been one of them. That's probably why they only list from 04-07. On realoem.com I noticed also that other parts were "ENDED" and there were newer parts in its place.

No it will not be a simple PnP. Those lights are designed to plug into a pre-lci harness and your 535i is a lci. If you are trying to get the smoked effect you can try to tint the tail light to give it the smoked look.

07s will not work it's a different harness the car goes in for tint and the Taillights are being sprayed today as well

Are there any other sites to purchase these whole LED taillights besides ProTuningLab. They are all out of stock.....:-/

One thing you need to be careful of when installing aftermarket taillights is the sealing. OEM parts fit properly and unless damaged won't let water in. With aftermarket lights, I would be careful. It is the same as getting aftermarket sheet metal parts for the body. They typically never fit the same. I also think it would be much better to tint the OEM parts, if that is the look you want.
