European Delivery - M6 Coupe in July 13'

Since I get about 14% off with ED, 750 + invoice...

How can you get a metallic white color to buy? Alpine white is too vanilla for me.

My current E92 is mineral white.

Would I get about $16,000 of the value of the MSRP at signing?

For a M6 at about 116K msrp, how much would monthly be on BMW select or leasing for 2-3 years? I calculated about $1200 on BMWUSA.com

Is the M6 Gran Coupe any better with residuals to offset the $3800 premium over the coupe?

Thanks guys!

I'm not sure what you are asking but I can assure you that no one will write you a check for $16k when you sign for the car.

That will depend on residuals and finance options at the time you sign on the car. You can use BMWUSA to get a "feel" but the numbers move all the time.

You may have better luck with this question and the one before it reaching out to a specific CA to work with.

I'd hope that if you are looking to buy an M6, variations of residuals would not be the reason to go GC or not.

Hope this helps,
Paul

Thanks for the reply; I meant that the GC might have better residuals (being a 4 door) and thus being the same or even less on monthly payments because of a higher residual?

The 6 Series Coupe (non M) and 6 Series Gran Coupe (non M) have the same residual value according to BMW FS so I don't see that changing with the M6GC.

Agreed. It's probably not going to happen. It's going to come out of the dealer's allocation and won't qualify for AVP.

My dealer does exclusively ED deals for their business it seems. They barely sell cars off the lots. So the ED deal is very attainable for my guy, Jim Mannheimer.

He's a Euro Delivery legend in the community!

Secondly; what's AVP?

And here I was thinking that he had a personal contact as an ace in the hole (Associate Vice President).

If you can get that good of a deal, that's awesome man.

Since when are the cars allocated from dealers for ED? Or is it only the last of the E92 M3's and rare/brand new M cars (such as M6 GC)?

I think you quoted the wrong person, but I think I can answer your question.

On occasion, new or highly in demand cars come out of dealer allocation. It used to be that all M cars came from it, but that changed ~3 years ago.

It really depends on the car.

Correct. The program as a whole is known as AVP or Added Value Program. Rather surprisingly a short google search yields a pdf with all the details of the program...

Ok.... my two cents.... the M6GC will be a dealer allocated car and will be a low production car. The odd's off getting $750 over invoice are probably non-existant. If a dealer only has 1 or 2 a month they may just keep it for US delivery. If they open it for a ED client It would not surprise me if would probably sell it for ED MSRP..... .
