E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135. |

Hey guys! Well I got rid of my e65 and bought a 2008 135i about a month ago. It has 50,000 miles and was stock when i bought it. In the past month, I installed a JB4 and the BMS intake. After installing, the car would misfire and throw a code from the increased boost and go into almost a limp mode until the restart the car. If i ran the stock map, it wouldn't happen. So begins my current issue, I went ahead and replaced all six coil packs and spark plugs with OEM parts from my dealer. It fixed my misfire under high boost and the car runs like a champ under throttle now. Very impressed! But now the car almost has a slight nudge or hesitation at idle. It does not throw a code. It does it in stock map also. And it also seems to be worse on a cold start. It does not look like the RPM's move when it happens, but you can feel it from inside the car and definitely tell it misses by listening to the exhaust note. It doesn't seem to have a pattern, sometimes it will do it every 30 seconds, sometimes every minute. Could I have messed up changing the coils and plugs? Im going to run some Seafoam through the vacuum line at the diverter valves to see if the intake system as oil from the blow by issue in it possibly. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance!
