E39 (1997 - 2003)

cause of O2 sensor fail??

i just replaced my thermostat in my 2003 540i. Now it is showing codes for two failed O2 sensors. Could the bad thermostat have caused the O2 sensors to fail??

O2 sensors are just like us human beings, they only live that long.
