Will I have to pay for maintenance...

if it comes up too soon?

I bought my car in July of this year. When I got it it had 15k miles on it and the next service was due in 15,000 miles or 10/15. I have driven the car 7500 miles since and now its telling me I have service due in 3200 miles or 10/15. The mileage will be up by the end of the year. Does the scheduled maintenance go by what the car says or by specific intervals?

At this rate I'll have another service due by summer, and the car has warranty until the end of next year.

Thanks.

Scheduled maintenance uses both. In your case the mileage will occur first so you can get a no-charge oil change at that time. The mileage will be reset to a new value at the time of the oil change.
For low-mileage drivers like me time runs out first. So as I stated, both time and mileage are used.

Thanks for the info. That's good to hear. My sister bought an Audi recently and I'm pretty sure they told her that maintenance was done at the specific mileage intervals. I didn't want to run into an issue since I rack up the mileage quickly.

Thanks again.
