What do I need to add Sirius to 2009 328?
Just bought a 2009 328i Sport Wagon. It has the 0693 Satellite Radio Preparation Kit feature on it from the factory. The radio shows a SAT option as an input when I cycle through the inputs. What else do I need to be installed with Sirius?
An option seems to be to buy an external Sirius and connect it through the iPod interface connector in the center console and run it through AUX. What does this involve? |

I have the factory prep also but don't have SAT showing in Idrive, so you should actually have the module. It should be just calling sirius and subscribing.

Turns out that I was remembering this from a Volvo V70 we were looking at as an alternative to the BMW Sport Wagon. SAT does not show up as an input choice.

Totally different then. You'll need to get the module, have it installed AND coded, then subscribe.
