540i m sport purchase 2003 w 106k
I am looking at a 540i m sport, auto trans. It has 106k. What are the common characteristics that I need to be aware of to make sure they have been addressed. Or what I need to make look for to see if it needs to be done?
Also, what would be a far price range for one that is supposed to be in excellent condition Thanks

Get a PPI from a well-respected BMW indie before making an offer. If there is no bundle of repair receipts, you need to search here for more info on the foibles of the breed.
If this is your first BMW, be aware that you will spend a good deal of money having the car maintained, unless you are an experienced automotive DIYer. But, like a demanding mistress, you will be rewarded. Price: Kelley Blue Book, NADA, Edmunds.
