Alright. Well I took the catalytic converter to scrap and got $95 just for the cat. I was shocked!! And now the 4 cylinder sounds like a Subaru. But I wondering if anyone would be interested in my drivetrain. I know I'm not in the classified ad. Eek. But the engine needs a valve cover gasket and should need a oil pan gasket. Both easy fixes. The engines due for an oil change anyways so it will work perfect. The tranny I believe needs the seal that goes the whole way around the transmission, toward the front of the car right in front of the tranny drain plug. I'm guessing that would e the transmission main seal. Dunno. I have interior parts, mainly driver side stuff cause the passenger side is fed up. And a nice trunk!

Is it even legal to sell only catalytic converter to a scrap yard in Pennsylvania? It's illegal to do so in many states, due to thieves cutting cats off of cars and taking them straight to the scrap yards for money.

Yes it's 100 percent. And the so one its a big issue but they don't have a law saying it

I kind of understand that... A friend of mine had the cat sawzall'd straight off his 4Runner in front of his house in Berkeley the other year. People are crazy.

Yea tell me about it. Glad I HAD a car that sat low so no one could get under to get it. Plus if someone cuts mine then I'm gonna see if I can be buddy buddy with someone who will let me slide. Cause cars sound better without them anyways

yeah, it's legal in nj.
