Oil Leak Help Vacuum Pump ?

I have a oil leak and I believe it coming from the vacuum pump. I recently replaced the oil sender thinking it might be that as the oil was in that area. I cleaned up the area thoroughly and went for a run and took a picture near that area.



I have circled where the oil is coming out off, I found that the top outlet where the hose is moves a bit, I saw a little bubble around the seam when I tried to give a little nudge. Does this mean the vacuum pump has to be replaced or just the seals ?

The circles are were the fresh oil is seen.

anyone care to comment ? need to be sure before I order the whole thing.

if you have oil in the tube, the pump has to be replaced. Otherwise it could damage the brake booster, it is a recall BMW has. See my DIY.

Looks like your solenoids are leaking, too.

Thx flash_n where are the solenoids located, is this a easy job ?

They are to the right of the pump. You can see the retainer and bolt in your picture.
Level 3 on my scale from 1-10.

Just fired off a email to my service guy at BMW with the recall notice. Lets see if they honor it.
