One Off Rotors for F02 750LI, a few peeks to the project

Project is going well, lots under way, one item is the dimpled slotted rotors I had made for the car. Wanted to share with you, I will get closer pics once i break them in, they are still new with 5 miles on them so why you see the wear being off. still has the coating on the discs..

other pics are of the factory matched color mud flaps, something I thought really helped with the car's lines. ALso did the calipers in white for a good accent.

roof painted Black, tried to wrap in black, just wasn't as quality as a good paint job.

small spoiler and roof spoiler too..

just wanted to share so far, still have some interior to do, but have some good ideas to make it look pretty.

thanks and welcome any criticism,

Are they slotted and dimpled stock rotors, or completely new fabrications? I would be worried about compromising the structural integrity of the rotor.

That said, I'm far from being an expert on brake rotor modification. They look cool, that's for sure! More pics of the car!

new rotors from BMW, dimpled and slotted, but nothing is penetrating the disc. In almost all EBC and other aftermarket, they take a OEM copy or aftermarket and do the same thing. Because the F02 has a unique front rotor not shared with any other car, there has never been a aftermarket oem replacement.

so i elected to buy all new rotors and then have a specialty shop that builds rotors do this. it only cost 200.00 plus new rotors.

That's pretty neat. Might have to do this once I get new wheels, and thus, expose more of the plain jane rotors we have stock.

i had that concern also, no, i had the shop that did them almost guarantee they wont due to the flex agent they used, plus the amount of clear. They really did a great job with them and because the BMW OEM material was porous, not shiny or coated, the paint really stuck. Its almost like bmw intended this, but i thought it was a great upgrade to the car to make it look different.

Where did you get the mudflaps for the F01? The car kicks up quite a bit onto the body.

I don't think I have ever seen pics of the completed mods on your car?

I did not know they had OEM mud flaps. I think I have to give this a try, the 20" 303 are throwing spray up the side of the car almost to the bottom of the windows.

Its not cheap, with two sets and paint it will probably be $500.
