2005 545i acceleration problem?

So my automatic 2005 bmw 545i has been acting very weird lately. I do not have the option of taking it to a BMW service place anytime soon since the closest one is an hour away. and where i live there is no one around who knows how to deal w/ BMWs. I would just like to know what is going on and estimates of how much it would cost to fix it.

Sometimes right when i start the car, the car's RMP gauge will start moving as if i am accelerating but im not. Ill just put the key into the ignition and the RPM gauge will go up and down alittle and the engine will rev by itself. Will someone please tell me whats going on? and how much it would cost to repair it? I don't know too much about cars. There is also a leak underneath my car of fluid. I dont know if this has something to do with it, or if this is another problem. Please help!

First, this is the wrong forum for that vehicle!

If you have a leak around the valve stems, this can put some (it doesn't take much) oil in the cylinder, and that gets burned off during a start. It's 'extra' fuel, and can play havoc with the mixture. If it isn't too bad, you might not notice a blue cloud of smoke from the exhaust, but it may be enough to affect that. Has your oil consumption gone up lately?

There are lots of things that could cause this symptom...a leaking vacuum hose, various sensors including the O2 sensor. Since this is the F07 forum (GT), and none of this model are as old as yours, people here may not have any other wisdom on what to look for - the F07 first came out in 2010 model.
