Thanks roseng!! I'll do my best! As for letting her drive never!!!!! She has never sat in the drivers seat and she never will. She knows it's off limits to her she has never tried or asked to drive Black Beauty!!

Hello all of you SoCal owners. We are just a week away for our get together, Saturday March 16th. We have about 17 6-series owners with 6 or 7 M6s in the mix.

I will send out the information one more time via email late next week.

If you signed up you should have received an email with the information. If you have not received anything from me please let me know ASAP.

I have created an online Calendar on Google docs. Please fill out your info and date preferences ASAP (click to link).

We'll do a meet and greet to swap stories, mods, coding, and such, grab lunch nearby and then a great drive up PCH.

Ok so it's a go for me and the family just need recommendations on hotels we want to stay the weekend. Please help ......

Haha, my fiance wanted to drive my 6 so I let her tried my car one and drove for ... 500 feet then she quit. She said the steering wheel are too heavy and the car is too aggressive and low. Haha. Ladies...

They rotated my tires on Thursday and I think while jacking up the car some stress occurred on the passenger side fender corner nearest the door. I flipped out after seeing this I don't even want to bring my car to the get together like this!!!!

Ouch that's brutal. The fenders are a composite(plastic) material and pretty flexible. I would guess those cracks are from a big impact with something like a tire mounted on the wheel. A hit with something hard would scratch the paint, and I cannot imagine how jacking could deform the fender enough to crack it like that.

Hopefully it's a stand-up shop and they are willing to fix the damage.

Yikes, I have never seen that one before, I could see where you would be tee'd off.

Hard to speculate what could cause something like that, car fell off the lift?

Wow! That is some serious damage. I hope that the shop responsible will stand up for the damage and that you are able to fix your head gasket. Good luck Nitrogen!

I have no way of proving it was the shop, that is my problem. The shop doesn't have a full lift, they just do one side at a time. I am thinking that jacking the car up on one side might put pressure on the fender and thus the crack. Oh well more reason to just go buy a new car. My cousin works in a body shop and is going to repair her soon. But it won't get fixed before this weekends get together. I am embarrassed to bring her with that blemish. But you never know I am a little crazy and I may still make the 5-6 hour drive hang out then drive back home. We will see!!!!

That may actually be from the spread sheet. They tend to autofill so once one was typed in the others may have filled in that way.

Tomorrow is the last day of deliberation for me I might wake up on Saturday @ 4am and hit the road to make it there. I have no spare tire w/ no run flats (do have new tires) and clipped wing (fender crack).
My family is all sick, my wife says to go alone ....what do you guys think am I crazy or what ....I would drive down spend the day and drive back home ...who would and who wouldn't???? Your comments will be my make or break...LOL

I think the car will be fine. Your family is another matter. If they have colds than you may be able to escape it. If they are really sick and you need to take care of them that's understood. Tough decision but I hope you can make it and have a good time. Besides, you need to see Zerocks1 new custom AEs in person.
