I finally tooks some pictures this weekend

Here are a few. I am getting the carbon fiber front spoiler in a few weeks

Yes, when I take it in to get the carbon fiber front lip I am going to have them seal them off. I saw a few people that replaced the orange reflectors with colors "tabs" that stick in place. But I think it will look better just sealing them off and painting them.

I just had the dealer take the original rims and powder coat them in gloss black. I like the way they look with the shadow line trim, tint, black grill and carbon fiber

Are you getting the M-performance cf front splitter? If so, I just got it about 2 weeks and it looks great! I've had a lot of good comments about it and it fits the lines so well.

How much did the dealer charge to powder coat the rims?

I was wondering the same.

I wouldn't mind having mine done someday but it just sounds like a pita to have to put on my spare OZ 18"s....take the 351's to a tire shop to get the tires dismounted, take them to powder coater, wait a week, then back to tire shop to get remounted, then take them home and mount on car. A one stop solution would be preferable.

They almost have a black pearl affect to it, it looks much better than a flat black that most people have.

I take all of my stuff to a body shop I've been going to for years. A one stop shop! For my wife's 535i, I dropped it off, they removed the wheels/tires and dropped them off at the powder coater down the street. While the car was in the body shop I had them paint the reflectors, paint the calipers, install the black grille, etc. I had the car back in less than a week!

I forgot, you're a fellow NorCal guy! I go to Rodz Body Shop in San Carlos...solid work every time. Oh, and the wheels are $75/ea for powder.

The dealership did them for free as an incentive for me to purchase the car. I suspect that they don't charge more than $125.00 per rim. That is the price they charge when you get rims repaired and refinished

I am in the East Bay every week and could swing something there, Peninsula is a bit too far to deal with though.

That is a great idea- just get it out of the way before you even get it - and your upgrades look fantastic.

I have slightly scraped the bottom of my stock front twice already getting in/out of some older parking lots. Thankfully nothing noticeable unless you crawled underneath.

Of course. I have a car club event to attend this weekend. The weather should be nice. I will snap some photos then. Its been pretty raining the past two days.
