You should probably save yourself and Festers in South/Central Florida some time here and let them know off the bat a few questions.

You should probably realize that you are competing with one of the best CAs in the US for this region who also has tons of experience. Also, Lauderdale in Pembroke Pines is a great dealership in your area.

These questions would include.

1) Will you offer a fixed price over ED invoice. (The people here are very informed in pricing and no one will give ED MSRP except on M models at launch.) 500 over flat for the 1 & 3, 750 over flat for 5, and 1k over for 6 & 7 is pretty norm. I can't see the managers at your store competing with this respect. I don't think many festers are like the people in Palm Beach who just open their wallets up.

-Similarly will you jack up the money factor and acquistion fee like your dealership has been known to do.

2) Will your prices include Braman's wonderful doc/dealer fee.

3) Will you be as honest as the other CAs here in letting the customers know if the money factor/residual/incentives changed (for the better) since they originally ordered their ED.

4) Will you let Festers sign the week before delivery or will you try and get an extra month out of them.

Potential customers will likely be trying to match your quote with Adrians and Lauderdale (who from my experience has better pricing than your store) so just a heads up.

Red LIned:

I was out of the state yesterday so I did not have a chance to address your post.

I love competing against one of the best CA's in the US because after 18 years promoting the BMW brand, I consider myself one of
the best. As afar as working for a great dealership, Braman Motorcars won BMW's Center of Excellence Award in 2012...one of only
30 dealerships nationwide to do so. The Braman Organization is a huge supporter of community activites, donating millions of dollars
a year to charitable organizations.

Here are the answers to your questions:

1. We will offer invoice pricing for European Delivery...for all models except the M series which will be $750 over invoice. We will charge the
standard money factor and acquisition fee as dictate by BMWFS.

2. We will not charge a dealer fee!!!

3. If the money factor/residual/incentives change so to benefit the customer, we will inform them of the additional savings they will enjoy!

4. BMW requires that the customer sign and pay for the car 2 weeks before they pick it up.

I look forward to assisting customers who want to enjoy a fantastic experience!!!!

So their is US MSRP, ED MSRP, ED invoice(wholesale). Your markup is $0 over ED invoice for everything but M cars or is it ED MSRP + $750 for M's?

I haven't been on this board as long as you have, but in almost 8 years here it never ceases to amaze me how many people can't grasp the concept of :

• ED invoice price (technically not price but cost)
• ED MSRP
• US deliv invoice price (ditto)
• US deliv MSRP

Wow....

Hey man!

As a battle hardened fester I definitely appreciate another active CA in the community. I've been on the receiving end of both an ED with a good CA (Adrian) and a bad CA (he that shalt not be named but not a bimmerfest supporter).

Without putting anyone in an uncomfortable position, I would just like to point out that this is really more of a guideline than a requirement.

I actually think that the sponsor's response was kinda vague and that is what has created confusion. He said they'll offer "invoice pricing" but didn't specify any markup and wasn't clear if that was ED invoice or US invoice. He then contrasted this with the exception of M vehicles which he said would get invoice + $750 pricing. Again is that US invoice or ED invoice?

So perhaps the sponsor can clarify:
Non M-cars is ED invoice + $750 Pricing?
M cars is US invoice + $750?

There's a volume bonus for ED? Perhaps for CAs who sell the most in the USA?

I would say a poor worded post more likely. I just read his post with a fresh set of eyes. What I think he means,
what makes sense is that non-M is ED invoice plus $750, and did not say what M cars would be. Hopefully he will clarify soon.

Btw, welcome to Bimmerfest John. The appropriate forum for commercial posts is the Site Sponsor Forum. The best way to
introduce yourself to the members is by answering questions in forums such as European Delivery, or any of the specific model forums...

To me it's pretty clear the way John has worded it.
For European Delivery all the non-M cars will be sold at European Delivery Invoice price with no mark up and no dealer fee.
For M cars European Delivery Invoice + $750.

As simple as that. But let John confirm and clarify to those who are skeptics.
