how do I see weather information on Map?
Hello Everyone,
I just bought a 2013 F10 and I've been trying to play with all the different features it brings. One that I cannot figure out yet is how to view real time weather information on the map. Do I need to be on a specific view in order to see it? when I call the second menu bar on the map view the weather is checked marked. I've been looking every where in the forum and online and I can't see to find any information. If anyone has figured this out, please let me know. thanks, Pablo

You have to zoom out but I also believe you may need the BMW Concierge service subscription. Good luck!

You mean this? I believe this one is free.
Zoom out to 250 miles or so  If you mean this one, I think this is part of the assist plan. I got it right away so not entirely sure what was included before. Maybe someone else can clarify.

With the price of assist and concierge service that I paid, I expected weather in motion. I want to see real time weather in motion...lol oh well

I know concierge can't make them for you but was hoping they could connect a call. They couldn't. All they could do was send me directions. I already knew where the damn restaurant was! Seems I can use my phone easier anyway. Maybe there are some things I'm missing that would be useful? Weather is neat...but again...iPhone

I agree too. I use the "concierge" weather as the other half of my split screen with the north facing map as the other.

The weather icon on map is part of the assist safety package that comes free for the 1st 4 years you own your 2013 BMW with the 609 Nav system. You need to be zoomed out to 10 miles to see the icons. I have a issue with this feature myself and my vehicle is at the dealer as I type this. The icons do not show up and BMW is working with the dealer on a fix. I'm being told its a software issue.
