Installing a new dash cam what are my options?

All,

Just bought one of these dashcams:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o01_s00_i00

Would like to install it without cutting any cables for power.

My options then are the power socket in the front passenger footwell, or the one in the trunk.

If I run it from the passenger footwell, I will have to run the cable through the side of the windshield and it will be very exposed... if I run it from the trunk, Im thinking maybe I can run the cable through the headliner without it being visible.

Question then... does anyone have any idea how hard it is to remove the headliner... and where do I find out how to remove it?

Don't have an F10, but have you thought of using tap-a-fuse (http://4x4icon.com/crossfire/pioneer...s_fuse_tap.jpg) for power? I picked one up when I hardwired my V1 to the E92.

You can connect the camera using the procedure described in this article for a dash mounted radar detector. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...302&highlight=
