Noise in my tires

Hi,
I hope someone can help me with this one....
I had 4 new tires replaced on my 2006 325XI about 20months ago, when the dealer was done installing the tires, he told me that my camber on my right front tire was slighly off and it shouldn't be a problem, now the car is making a funny noise when I turn or slow down, it's not my brakes because I had those replaced too. When I brought the car to the dealership for them to take a look at the noise, they told me that I need new front tires because they are worn in the inside. I only got 20K miles out these tires and now they want me to replace them. They told me since my alignment was off I need new tires, but if the dealer never fixed the alignment when I purchased the tires, shouldn't they be resposible for replacing the tires?

Nope. Was up to you.

But....front camber? Rears usually wear much faster and there's almost no front camber adjustment. Then again, xi might be diff.

Are you CPO'd?

Get that front suspension checked & aligned. When alignment's done by a competent shop, suspension parts, joints, and bushings are checked. Things like oil leaking from a bushing are major issues and should be fixed while there or no alignment will have lasting effect.

BMW's priced at the well-heeled end - a reputable Indy will do the job.

OTOH, may have been in a collision. Check!

It could be just tire noise, they do 'complain' differently when 1/2+ worn then new.

Also could be an Xdrive problem starting, The 4wd I used to work on would start making noise when they got to a certain wear point.

You're going to need an experienced ear and maybe some shop time.

Oh yea, CPO doesn't cover tires or alignment UNLESS it's so bad it's a safety issue.
